What age group of children are BLOCKids climbing walls designed for?

BLOCkids climbing walls are designed for all ages of children from 3 years old. The right accessories can be added to the wall for each age category. For the younger ones we recommend ladder rungs or boards, for the older ones for example wooden climbing structures or special types of holds available in the climbing accessories.

What material are climbing walls made of?

The walls are made of 18 mm wooden plywood, the walls for the interior are supplied with a rear 18 mm frame, so the total depth of the walls in the interior is 36 mm.

What is the capacity of the BLOCkids climbing wall?

On solid masonry up to 180 kg and in plasterboard partition up to 135 kg. Adults can climb on it without any problems, even in two...

What are the delivery dates for BLOCKids?

For standard sets, the average delivery time during the year is within 10 working days, we have the vast majority of products in stock. The exception to this is at Christmas when it's a real rush. We recommend ordering earlier before Christmas, or contacting us if it's really 'rushed'!

What if I need different wall dimensions than you offer as standard?

No problem at all, use our configurator to choose a wall as big or as tall as you need! Still not enough? Contact us and we will make your wall as wide or as high as you want. We can do it...

Is the surface of the climbing boards treated in any way?

The surface treatment of the interior boards is painted with a two-component waterborne interior paint and a fine sprinkle in the white surface variant. This is the same as on the professional walls only it is finer so the kids don't get rubbed off. The wood design is protected with a solvent-free, colourless varnish. Thanks to these coatings we guarantee a long life of the material.

Are climbing wall surfaces safe for health?

The coatings used to finish our indoor climbing walls are made from selected pigments, fillers and other raw materials that do not release heavy metal compounds such as tin, aluminium, chromium, cadmium, cobalt, copper, nickel, lead, mercury or zinc. On this basis, the coatings we use meet the requirements of the European standard for toy coatings EN 71-3.

Is it possible to install climbing boards in a different way than in the photos of standard sets?

Yes, the climbing boards are identical and the whole system is completely modular. The boards can be placed completely separately. The individual boards do not have to fit on top of each other. They can rotate 90 or 180 degrees. The final design of the set is entirely up to you. Didn't find the design you were looking for? Then you can solve everything in our climbing wall configurator!

Can BLOCKids climbing walls also be installed on plasterboard partitions?

Thanks to a great and revolutionary system from the German company Fischer, our walls can also be mounted on plasterboard. Please specify in your order.

Do I need to buy dowels, screws or bolts for installation?

No, all accessories for installation are included.

What material and who makes BLOCKids climbing holds?

We also produce climbing holds from ecological polyurethane - 40% of the material used in the production is from renewable sources. Our climbing holds under the VirginGrip brand are made from the same material and cast in the same production facility as the BLOCkids climbing holds. These are used by professional climbers at national cups in places like Japan, Spain and Australia. More info at www.virgingrip.com
